Exceptions and Process Improvement Analyst

Report To:  Commercial Team Manager

Salary: Negotiable based on experience

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Commercial Team Manager, the Exceptions and Process Improvement Analyst will ensure customers can move effectively through their customer lifecycle, which include SPA, Billing, Metering, COTs and Renewals with minimal to no issues.

The successful applicant will already possess a deep understanding of the energy industry and will incorporate previously gained expertise into completing a gap analysis of existing working practices and making suggestions for process improvement.

The role will also include exception management of data relating to the registration of customers, the appointment of industry agents, the set-up of metering systems and the validation of customer usage to ensure commercial customers are billed correctly.

The role will mean working closely with the Change and Transformation team as an SME in the creation and documenting of business customer lifecycle processes and training these out to the wider business.

This will be a hands on role, so the successful applicant will be an experienced user of Junifer and the Utiligroup Retail Suite.

You will also be expected to provide weekly reports on exceptions (industry & system) and unbilled accounts, detailing why the exception occurred what is being done to mitigate them and provide root cause resolutions.

 SPA (Supply Point Administration) Administrator

Report To:  Commercial Team Manager

Salary: Negotiable based on experience

Job Purpose

Reporting to the Commercial Team Manager, the SPA administrator will ensure that the pricing, sales and customer on boarding process runs as efficiently as possible.

Time is of the essence when processing contracts, therefore you must ensure that all contracts are processed as soon as possible.

You will be responsible for ensuring third party intermediaries (TPI’s) receive the correct data, ensuring acquisitions are made accurately. You will resolve any exceptions with the data by raising with the TPI and/or the CRM provider.

You will monitor the business quotes mailbox and work closely with the commercial sales and pricing teams to ensure quotes are priced correctly and without delay.

You will ensure the all data trackers are kept up to date, as well as managing commission payments for TPI’s and internal sales.

You will be responsible for managing the registration of acquisitions, ensuring that the registration processes as expected, whilst dealing with any exceptions as they occur.

You will be responsible for managing the loss process for commercial customers.
