Billing


The easiest way to pay is by Direct Debit. You'll save up to £50 a year (£25 per fuel) and the payments come out of your account automatically, so you don't have to do anything else. Learn more about paying by Direct Debit.

Want to switch to Direct Debit? Great, just get in touch and we'll take care of it.

We check your payments twice a year to make sure you're paying enough to cover your usage. If you're using more energy than expected, we might increase your payments. Likewise, if you're using less we'll reduce your payments.

It's important that you send us regular meter readings so that we can calculate your payments correctly.

If you haven't submitted a meter reading for a while, we might have sent you an estimated bill. Log in to your online account to make sure your meter readings are up to date. After that your next bill should be up-to-date.

If you're still unhappy, get in touch and we'll look into it for you.

We usually send an estimated bill when we’ve not had a meter reading. So you’ll need to give us a reading to make sure your bill is accurate - and that you’re not paying too much or too little.

To submit a reading, log on to your online account, email meterreads@pfpenergy.co.uk or call 01772 395777.

We’re sorry that you’ve not had your bill. Log onto your online account to check the predicted date of your next bill. Alternatively get in touch and we’ll confirm when it’s due.

If you haven't received your bill within 20 days of the due date then let us know.

  • Meter disconnection or reconnection: from £65 (agreed before the work is scheduled)
  • Failed Direct Debit: £12
  • First reminder letter: £12
  • Second reminder letter: £20
  • Field visit: £60
  • Warrant application: £60
  • Warrant execution: £240
