We’re different to other energy suppliers
PFP Energy is proud to be a not-for-profit energy company, or as we like to call it ‘Profit for Purpose’. We’re owned by a not-for-profit UK Housing Association, which means we can focus on the important things like supporting our customers and investing money where it’s needed.
Did you know that ‘PFP’ stands for ‘Profit for Purpose?’
Unlike many other energy companies, we don’t pay our company directors dividends or pay out large bonuses. We’re solely Profit for Purpose. We don’t spend customers’ money on large marketing and TV campaigns. Instead, we are a not-for-profit energy company underpinned by three key aims:
- Any Profit we make is for a Purpose
- We focus on supporting customers’ needs
- Your money goes back into improving services for all of our customers and into communities.
PFP in the community
Not only does PFP Energy focus on improving communities, but our teams wanted to do even more. Launching a community initiative in the latter part of 2019, our teams have continued to raise hundreds of £s each year in support of local and national charitable causes.
We provide annual support to a range of national and international charities alongside those local in our area such as the Foxton centre, a local charity providing support, safety and resources for vulnerable adults and young people in the area.
Energy Made Simple
One way we keep your bills low is by keeping everything simple. With us you’ll get simple tariffs, simple bills and a simple online account to manage your energy.
We keep our costs down – and where we save, you save. For example, if you manage your account online, or pay by Direct Debit, you’ll get a nice discount.
We calculate bills every month to help you stay up-to-date. We will ask you to provide monthly meter readings, which can be sent through your online account, to ensure that your bills stay accurate and you won’t be paying for energy you’ve not used.

PFP Energy begin behind the scenes work on ‘Eddie’ a 24/7 automated chat bot who will help to better serve customer’s energy needs.
PFP Energy launch an internal charity initiative to raise money for good causes throughout the year.

PFP Energy Business reaches 1000 customers.
PFP Energy begin to on board SME's.
Further growth to 60,000 customers.

Moved to new larger premises on Preston Docks to house the growing number of staff.
