How do I switch to PFP Energy?
It takes five minutes. All you need is your latest bill so that we can give you an accurate quote. Start switching here.
How long will it take to complete the switch?
It can take up to 21 days for us to complete the switch. It might take longer if there is an objection from your current supplier or we need further information from you.
What's the cooling-off period?
It’s the amount of time you’ve got to change your mind after registering with us. Our cooling-off period is 14 days, so you can cancel at any point during this time, without incurring exit fees. The dates of your cooling-off period will be shown in your welcome letter.
I haven't heard anything about my switch - is everything OK?
Your switch can take up to 21 days (3 weeks) to complete. We usually contact you around 5 days before the switch is due to complete for your first meter reading. If this time has passed and you haven’t heard anything, get in touch and we’ll take a look
I owe money to my current supplier. Can I still apply to switch?
Yes, but they may object to you leaving. So it’s vital to clear your debt first to avoid any delays with your application.
I have left my previous supplier, but they've sent me a bill. What should I do?
It’s likely that this is your final bill. It should include a final reading on the day you switched over to us, so check the information they’ve got is correct and then make a payment.
I’ve had a letter which says I’ve requested a switch to PFP Energy. This isn’t right - what should I do?
Please get in touch as soon as possible so we can stop the switch and look into why this has taken place.
Why has my current provider objected to my switch to PFP Energy?
It could be for a range of reasons, such as:
- There’s an outstanding balance of your account
- You have a specific contract allowing them to object
- You’ve changed your mind and told them you no longer want to switch to us.
If none of these apply to you, give your current supplier a call to check the reason.
Do I have to provide any documents to switch to you?
No, we like to keep things simple. You only need to give us your personal details and we’ll ask you for a meter reading. That’s it.
I've changed my mind. How do I cancel my switch to you?
We’re sorry that you want to cancel, just get in touch and we can cancel the switch. Please note if you are outside of your cooling off period an exit fee may apply.
